About the Author
Adolfo Orsi Jr. first developed a passion for motorcars in his teenage years, when his family owned Maserati. As a noted historian of Italian motorsport, collector car expert and staunch advocate of preservation, Mr. Orsi has driven the restoration of some of Italy’s most significant cars. He has curated exhibitions, authored the Classic Car Auction Yearbook since 1994 and, since 1999, served as Chief Class Judge of the FIVA Award at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and Chief Judge of major Ferrari, Lamborghini and Maserati concours, among others.
